Director’s Heroines

Director is the secret behind how you see your favourite hero or heroine on screen. And every director who made it big had a unique style of his own; owing to which he earned his fame, recognition and trademark, which later became his stereotype. Now, although the word stereotype is used in a negative light, we would like to see it as a certain credit that the director accrued over the years, after innovatively implementing his ideas and style that only he could come up with in his time. Now, coming to the theme of our article, it is safe to say that few directors have a ‘type’ of heroine that they would ideally portray on screen. Perhaps, if the director was allowed to magically slip into the world of cinema, the lady of his dreams would be the one he portrays in his movies.
