Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is holding the combined entrance examination for admission to the two-year M.Sc. Biotechnology programmes for the academic sessions 2014-15. The exam is to be held on May 19, 2014 at various centres across the nation. The applications for the same are invited.
Eligibility criteria:
The candidates applying for the examination should hold Bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in physical, biological, agricultural, veterinary or fishery sciences or in Pharmacy, Engineering / Technology or in Medicine (MBBS) or Dentistry (BDS) or should have acquired a four year Bsc.(Physician Assistant course) with a minimum 55 percentile.
Applications:
Applications can be submitted, both online and offline.
The candidates applying for the exam need to submit a fee of Rs600/- (In case of SC/ ST/ PH category candidates, the fees is Rs300/-).
The fee can be paid through demand draft drawn in favour of 'Jawaharlal University' payable at New Delhi.
Admit cards:
Admit card can be downloaded from the official website around May 10. The admit card needs to be carried at the exam centre with a copy of latest passport size photograph.
Result:
The merit list of the candidates is expected to be out on second or third week of June. Final result of the allotted universities is expected to be published in the first week of July.

- Online applications: Online applications can be filled on the official website. The process will commence from February 7 at 10 am and continue till 5pm on March 26. The printed copy of the online application form should reach JNU by April 2.
- Offline applications: Offline application forms will also be issued from February 7. The last date for issue of offline application forms is March 11. The completed offline application form is required to reach JNU latest by March 28.
- The application forms can be submitted either by registered post/ speed post to 'Section officer (admissions), Room no.28, administrative block, Jawaharlal Nehru University , New delhi-110067.
