The Institute of Chartered Accountants in India (ICAI) has announced that the results of Chartered Accountants Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) held in November 2013 will be available on January 31, 2014 at 4:00 PM on the ICAI website. The merit list for candidates scoring a minimum of 55 per cent and above will be available. The top 50 all India ranks will also be released.

Candidates can also pre-register to receive their results through e-mail immediately after the declaration of the results. The registration has begun from January 27. Those interested in registering can log on the http://www.caresults.nic.in website. Results can also be received via text message alert. To receive the IPCC results through sms, the candidates should type CAINTER (Space)XXXXXX (your six digit IPCC examination roll number) and send it to 58888. The common problem of websites being slow due to too many people trying to check their results can be avoided by applying for results through e-mail or text message.

Having successfully cleared the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC), candidates are eligible for the Chartered Accountancy Final examinations. Students may appear for IPCC directly after Graduation in mathematics (or allied subject) or after clearing the Common Proficiency Test (CPT). The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is the sole certifying body for the profession of Chartered Accountancy. After clearing the CA final examinations, the candidate becomes a certified member of ICAI and is qualified to practice as a CA.
